My Ghana Wedding: My GH Wedding: Ernest & Harriet

One phone call opened the door between Harriet and her bea Ernest....

While awaiting her secondary school results Harriet's brother who was in his 3rd year at the University suggested that she speak with his shy classmate. After speaking with him Harriet discovered that he was truly shy and couldn't even make a conversation, however he managed to utter the words "My name is Ernest and please don't mind your brother." After a year she went to the university to visit her brother and was finally introduced to Ernest.

Harriet says, to be frank, he wasn't what I will call my dream guy but I wanted to be nice so I sat by him and had a nice chat. It took some time before we spoke again and when we did he said," Harriet I love you and want to be with you." Seriously, I told him that we didn't know each other and that we should be friends and see where it goes.

From that moment he started to pay me more visits and always checked up on me. He helped me to achieve my goals and drew me closer to God. These things made me fall in love and my love grew for him on a daily basis. When he proposed at the Peter Pan restaurant in dzowulu, I didn't think for a minute and accepted. That was one of the happiest moment of my life. I thank my brother for that phone call, I am smiling today because of that.
